Schreibend auf der eigenen Spur bleiben

Immer wieder stelle ich in diesem Blog Fragen, die ich empfehle schreibend zu beantworten. Kürzlich wurde ich von einer Leserin gefragt, warum ich das Schreiben so ausdrücklich empfehle. Der Versuch einer Antwort.

Es macht einen Unterschied, ob ich über etwas nachdenke oder meine Gedanken aufschreibe. Einen großen Unterschied. Wenn ich über Dinge nachdenke, beginnen sich meine Gedanken früher oder später an im Kreis zu drehen. Ich komme über einen bestimmten Punkt nicht hinweg, beschäftige mich immer wieder mit den selben Fragen und meine Lösungsansätze sind vage.

Gedanken materialisieren sich am Papier

Wenn ich jedoch schreibe, materialisieren sich meine Gedanken förmlich am Papier. Indem die Füllfeder übers Papier gleitet, werden meine Gedanken sichtbar durch die Tinte. Und alleine dadurch werden sie konkreter und sind nicht mehr vage. Ich schreibe seit mittlerweile 16 Jahren regelmäßig, beinahe täglich. Die wichtigsten Entscheidungen dieser letzten Jahre sind am Papier getroffen worden – sei es der Entschluss mich selbständig zu machen, bis hin zu Seminarideen. Ich schreibe darüber, warum mich Aussagen von Mitmenschen nachdenklich oder ärgerlich machen. Ich verstehe Ereignisse in meinem Leben besser,  wenn ich darüber schreibe.

Mittlerweile habe ich gelernt, dass ich viel schneller Klarheit zu Fragen, die mich beschäftigen, bekomme, wenn ich darüber schreibe. Ich habe mich selbst besser kennengelernt durch das Schreiben. Ich bin mir bewusster geworden, wer ich bin, was ich will oder nicht will und wie ich in Zukunft mit gewissen Situationen umgehe.

Um als Heldin durch dein Leben zu gehen, solltest du dich selbst gut kennen um mutig deine Entscheidungen fürs Abenteuer treffen zu können. Ich lade dich daher ein, dir selbst auf die Spur zu kommen und dir schreibend über diese Fragen Gedanken zu machen:

  • Was will ich in meinem Leben?
  • Warum will ich es?
  • Welchen Preis bin ich bereit dafür zu zahlen?
